The child says to its mother, can I live?
We live in a society where the unborn child can be an inconvenience, the unborn child does not have rights, the unborn child is not considered a life until such and such weeks old. It is so easy to disregard the unborn because they do not yet have a voice, that is why it is important to speak for them.
What are we doing to ourselves, to our children, to our country. The law says that we cannot kill our neighbor but a mother can kill her own child as long as it is still in the womb? Murder is murder. No matter how you look at it. You are taking a life, a life that was never yours to take. My children are not my property, they are a gift.
"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
The biggest evil in the world today is abortion. It is pure hatred. Hatred for life.
I know every woman has different circumstances and different reasons for her abortion but there is a solution. We can fight abortion with adoption. We also need to pray!
I know so many women who long to have a baby and cannot. Month after month they feel pain, disappointment, guilt, depression. Yet that same month countless babies are killed and thrown away through abortion. It hurts my heart. My heart hurts for the children who have lost their lives through abortion, for the mothers that have undergone an abortion and for the women who long for a child yet cannot conceive.
If abortion is so liberating, why does it cause so much pain? I think abortion is anything but liberating. You become a slave. A slave to the blood of your child that was shed.
P.S. If you have undergone an abortion, know that God loves you. God is full of compassion and forgiveness. Go to him. He wants you no matter your sins.
